We are proud to announce that on October 26th 2022, KrakenFlex will be presenting the findings of their pilot project with Xcel Energy and EPRI. The purpose of the project has been to validate the ability to deploy the KrakenFlex Energy Flex solution to control and optimize a fleet of battery and solar devices across an array of sites in the Colorado region. Central to the project has been the ability to do this in a safe, secure and grid compliant manner, utilising a combination of our real-time cloud technology and state of the art ‘on-site’ Gateway.
Our Director of Growth Matthew Wapples has led the project. "Over the last 12 months we've truly become a global company embarking on projects in North America, Europe and Asia. Central to our growth has been our working collaboratively with companies to use our technology to accelerate their move to reduce carbon emissions and more effectively use renewable energy. The Xcel energy project has been an exciting opportunity to work in a new US state and further expand our capabilities to meet local nuances"
